Car has never been wrecked nor raced and it is very unlikely that motor mounts fail on 2 year old cars. Here is the repair estimate received 7/5/22 at 1638: Oil change $112.00 Brake Flush $130.00 Vehicle Check CBS $170.00 Maintenance: $100.00 Value Line Front Pad: $100.00 Front Pads and Sensor: $426.41 Rear Pads and Sensor: $373.21 Tire Rotation $30.00 Motor Mount: $1095.28 On their department opening 7/6/22 at 0815, 0830, and 1000, service department, service advisor and service manager were informed via phone (messages left since no one answered the phone other than main operator) not to do any of the services listed. At 1045, service advisor called and said all work was already done or would be finished by noon, except brakes which we initially told them not to do due to outrageous cost. Received the final bill for $1794.63. They charged 6 hours for motor mount, although supposedly they started all services at 0800. Service manager stated that it is common for motor mounts to go out on 2020 Mini Coopers although a TSB does not exist for repair, nor is it covered under warranty. To quote he said “It was probably broken for a while” The service advisor scared my wife by showing her a picture of something broken and saying that her engine may fall out. I replaced the brake and sensors after getting the car for $129.63 in under 2 hours. The service department charged 6 hours for motor mount replacement and only information I found online regarding motor mounts failing on different Mini forums was one about it being a scam some dealerships use. I did notice that the tray that has to be removed to access the brake fluid was still full of leaves. The tires that look to be in the same spot as when it was dropped off, there are discernible small wheel scuffs on two of the wheels. When cranking the car later the same day, the battery was dead. I replaced the battery and had the old one tested at BattiersPlus, less than 269 out of 800 CCA, 12.57v. When I returned the core to the dealership, since that is the only place that carries that battery, I was told that with AGM you can not check them outside of a vehicle, which is also not true. I escalated in the chain of command after speaking with the Service Manager to the General Manager, who called back the next day after our conversation too say he would offer me $275, but would not investigate any further. I refused out of principle and he stated he would have the head of customer service call me. After a couple days, she called and seemed irritated that I was questioning if any of the work had been done and whether there is any accountability with honesty in their organization. I did suggest that if they cover the motor mount that I would disappear and not write reviews nor frequent their dealership. At the end of the conversation she stated that she would not offer anything and would consult their attorneys as I questioned the honesty and the character of their employees. Today she called back, did not mention the conversation with their attorneys but instead said that she would only refund $275. I am not sure where they calculated $ 275.00, but I think they know that they made many errors and are trying to buy my silence. Final Bill total from Mini of Pensacola: Value Oil Service: $112.36 Brake Flush: $133.58 (although we declined all brake service) Vehicle Service Check: $170.00 Replace Engine Air Filter: $103.20 Broken Motor Mount: $1095.28 Rotate Tires: $30.00 Battery: $292.07 (not sure why they did not check the battery as part of their service check) You can decide if you want to take your vehicle here for service, I can provide copies of all receipts as well as documentation of phone calls.

I was interested in a used BMW that they had on the lot. While there, we test drove a few mini's ... they were a great car and fun to drive. The sales rep took his time with us and did not make us feel pressured into buying the mini over the BMW. I got a fair price for my trade-in and the used BMW that I decided to go with. Long story short, the service department sold me the wrong size battery when I lived here in Pensacola. Two and a half short years later I needed a new battery. My new local Mini dealership in NC sold me the CORRECT one and my out-the-door price was less than HALF of what I paid at Mini of Pensacola. I’m not sure why there was such a huge price difference between two dealerships and why I paid MORE for a smaller less cranking amp battery. I called and spoke with someone in Pensacola about it and I got zero apologies or answers. I was told that “according to a chart” back when I bought the battery, it was the correct one. I drive a 10 year old Mini. Why is there any question as to which is the correct battery? I asked my local dealership what chart they might have been referring to and they laughed! They had no clue and told me I had been lied to. I can’t help but wonder what other mess Mini of Pensacola created for me. I’ve been fixing things they’ve supposedly already fixed before... To make things worse, I wrote a letter to the service manager, Ms. Cathy Haley back in November of 2018. It is now Feb 2019 and I have YET to be contacted with answers to my questions. For the past few years I have stopped by the Mini of Pensacola dealership to look at, sit in, and test drive the different mini's. All knew I was waiting for retirement, and that day came in April of of this year! I don't trade/buy new vehicles very often, and this has to have been the "most" pleasant experience ever! I met with Mr. James Phillips, motoring adviser, he was so polite and professional! I told him the vehicle I wanted, color, etc, so forth, and he found it! He kept in touch with me, on a daily basis, and most of the time, several times a day, he always answered my questions and texts! And sent me pictures! We were mainly curious about the Mini Cooper, and not really in the market to buy. We stopped at Mini of Pensacola and met John Genduso (our salesman) in the showroom, and we were very impressed and comfortable with him from the beginning. We ask him a ton of questions and looked over the great selection Mini has to offer. We especially liked the Cooper "S" Hardtop, and John asked us if we would like to test drive one. No pressure whatsoever. My wife and I loved it! It's the most fun car we've ever driven! We decided to buy, but with certain options. John spent hours trying to locate one with all we wanted, and there wasn't a dealer that had that "special" car in stock. Mini offers so many options that it's mind-boggling, but John was very patient and guided through the myriad of choices. So, after ordering one, we wound up with our perfect Mini. Exciting! The day after taking delivery, we began our own version of "Mini Takes the States", driving to Seattle and back to Pensacola, taking a month and driving 7,300 miles! The car was fantastic, exceeding all expectations-it was roomy, quiet, very responsive handling (great for winding mountain roads), and plenty of power, all while averaging over 34 MPG for the trip. And, no problems with anything. It was a great, fun adventure! And, it all started with our curiosity and John Genduso. The entire staff at Mini of Pensacola are sincerely friendly and very courteous. All are so accommodating and willing to help with anything-and that includes their service and parts department. They treat you as if you've purchased a luxury brand that costs twice the price. To sum up, we totally recommend Mini of Pensacola and, if you're even just curious about the Mini, you owe it to yourself to stop in and take a look. It's fun!

This is apparently an overworked department. When calling to schedule service no one answers the phone and you are required to leave a voice message. That would be fine IF THE CALLS WERE EVER RETURNED...but they are not! Good luck finding a person live to talk with. Finally went in person as it is over 200 miles to another MINI service department.

How in the world does this dealership get 5 stars, either they've paid for these reviews or done their own reviews. I am sad to say I am ending my long relationship with BMW/Mini because of the inability to get Sales or Service help at the only Pan Handle dealership. I have called and left voicemails for everyone up to and including the service manager for both brands and have never received a call back. I have been waiting over two weeks. In fact, the only way I can get someone in service is to call Mini or BMW customer relations. How sad, two such prestigious brands and having only one dealership in the area, and that dealership being so inept ruins the experience for both brands.

I have wanted a Mini for a few years but my husband was not very enthusiastic. So we bought a Civic Hybrid. Finally I decided to buy the car I wanted. We live in MS (we do not have a dealership) so I had to shop on line and by phone. I wanted a silver MINI two door with a sunroof and everytime I found one it got sold. So I spoke with John this last time and he suggested I put a down payment. We drove today and met with him and the manager. John is friendly, down to earth,extremely knowledgeable. My husband was worried about the trade-in price but he negotiated with John and his manager and they gave us a great price, I mean great. No fuss, no arguing all done simply. We paid for the car. John was so funny, gave us the Mini "college course" with a present for graduation, it was all great. I was so nervous when we got there mostly due to my past car buying experiences but this was lovely. The future looks great also, John explained the warranty, the free oil change, the friendly attainable folks at the end of the line. It seems unreal but after today I can actually believe it. I recommend this dealership for any purchases, MINI, BMWs or used cars, these people are professionals honest. I can't vouch for the other salespeople but I can certainly recommend John Genduso, he is awesome. Made my whole experience anxiety free and that a lot to say.

What I valued most about this dealership is that the men there didn't make me feel like I was at a disadvantage because I am a woman. The men didn't talk down to me, they didn't try to pretend they were my friend's, and they worked with me in every way they possibly could.They let me know they would be there if I had any questions after my purchase. They were straight forward and looked me in my eyes. They were curtious and went out of their way to help make sure I had every advantage of the buying experience which was hard because I basically purchased my car over the phone and only came in to sign the paperwork at the very end. In the past ( before money was so tight ) I had purchased 3 new BMW's and this is by far my favorite car.As well this is my second car from a Sandy Sansing dealership and each time I was given a great deal and was treated with respect. Been in for service a couple of times and each time has been wonderful, Very knowlegage and friendly folks. I don't feel ripped off and they always inform me of what's going on. Identifies the issue, explains it, gives price, and fixes it (so far) without re-occurance. Couldn't ask for more from a dealership.

I have been in the market for a new car and had never considered a MINI Hardtop Cooper S until my friend told me about them so I went up to the dealership on a Saturday with a friend and was greeted by the salesperson Alicia. She gave me very accurate details on the car, and was very informative. She then asked if I would like to take on on a test drive in which I agreed. I drove it, and was quite impressed. We exchanged information and I left. My friend that was with me then considered trading in his Jeep for a MINI, and he was going to go up to the dealership and test drive one himself, and I agreed that I would go with him so I can get a second look at the car. Once we arrived we were greeted by Alicia again, but then Justin came out from around the corner and asked us if we were military, and to which we responded yes. It seems right after we had said yes he immediately began accusing us of "killing time by driving sports cars." He also told us that these are not toys and that he did not want our business. Amazed at the rudeness I had just seen I left, and immediately sent an e-mail about our visit and to which he replied "I remember when I was a younger age, I would go to dealerships and test drive sports cars to kill time" So he assumed because of my young age (I'm 20 years old) that I was just trying to kill time. I feel as I was discriminated due to my age, and that I was military because that was one of his first questions, and after we answered that he immediately acted to remove us from his dealership. I will not be leaving this alone, and am currently waiting for an e-mail reply, and I will probably be going higher up in the management to make them aware of this situation. The salesperson Alicia was very informative and I would recommend her, but due to experience I had with Justin I will not be purchasing anything from this dealership.

My wife has been wanting a MINI for almost five years and has driven them on a few occasions and loved the drive. We tried to make the MINI and then the Clubman fit our needs but couldn't quite talk ourselves into it. THEN THE COUNTRYMAN CAME OUT!! We went to Mini of Pensacola last week to test drive, went back for a second look a few days later and then yesterday bought a Countryman. Justin Octavi was a pleasure to deal with from the start and let us test drive the straight and then the 'S'. We opted for the 'S'. As I told Justin: "You have made this a pleasurable experience". Randy Johnson was also efficient at his job and enjoyable to work with. We also talked with Shawn Neary about the process when we come in for a maintenance visit and he explained what we need to do. My wife is tickled with her new MINI. She looks out in the front yard and giggles every once in a while.

Our salesman, John Genduso, was fantistic. We visited the dealership multiple times over a 10 - 12 week period and each time we came in John provided exceptional support without being overbearing. I never once felt pressured but at the same time I reaized that he cared about the quality of our experience by the time he took to provide detailed answers to our questions and his demonstrated willingness to let us wander the lot. His patience and friendly attitude was tested over and over as he responded to our request to open and sometimes drive a variety of cars, even the same car multiple times. His attitude toward the Mini's is a lot of fun. He loves to talk about them and he is extremely knowledgeable on every aspect of all the various models. He expresses a desire that his customers have the time to select the model that suits them best. After many visits we bought two Mini's. My wife got a Cooper S convertable, and I got a "Just a Mimi" hardtop. We have had the cars for almost a week and we are both thrilled with our personal choices. I'm 64 years old and I can honestly say that I personally hanen't been this excited about a car in a long, long time. I'm looking forward to seeing John again at the dealership and the Mini Club. Thanks for everything John.

My wife and I stumbled into the Mini of Pensacola (summer 2010) after seeing a used one at the Mazda dealership. We had planned on buying a Miata, but thought we would check out the Mini. John showed us an S convertible and we were sold - not only by the car, but by John. He answered all our questions honestly and is a MINI fanatic. He is one of the few car salesmen I have ever met that actually knew his product. His knowledge, commitment to the MINI brand and enthusiasm sold us on a great car. While we could have driven back to Birmingham (our primary home) and bought a MINI locally, we bought it there in Pensacola. At that time, news was out about the Countryman which was coming out early in 2011. John and I kept in touch and he helped me stay up to date about the Countryman's release. I visited the MINI dealer in Birmingham dealer (I believe in buying local), but the salesman there could not even return a phone call so when we were ready to drive a Countryman, we went back to John and were not disappointed again. We bought our second MINI from John and had the same fantastic experience - he was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. He helped me to decide on a Non-turbo S, but was never pushy. We love our MINIs and will return to John for our next one and have recommended him to friends and family.

Mini of Pensacola has been absolutely awesome. John Genduso has been great to work with. I originally wanted a new mini but then fell in love with the paint job on a used mini I found on the lot. John was down to earth and great to work with while negotiating the price for the car, and he has been a huge help since I have purchased the car. I had a lot of questions after I purchased the car (Which I love!!!) and John (as well as anyone else I have spoken to at the dealership) have been helpful to address those questions with clear answers and patience. I also had several after-market mini accessories added to my car and the dealership was fair on price for installation and let me zoom around in a convertible mini while my car was being worked on. I also have a story where the dealership went totally above and beyond for me. One Friday I had to drive over to the Pensacola airport to catch a flight (I live near Mobile, Ala.) and all of the sudden the radio announced that there were 4 accidents at rush hour on I-10. I don't know anyone in Pensacola BUT I did have John's card on me so what the heck, I called the dealership to say I bought my mini there and now I was having to exit I-10 early (gave exit name) and could they help navigate me to the airport so I wouldn't miss my flight. Terry who was working the phones was amazing and she stayed on the line with me and got me to the airport with not 5 minutes to spare. I have had a great experience, enjoy so much driving my car, and now participate in Sunshine Mini's, the Florida Panhandle's social group for mini owners.

In Sept 2010, I went to MINI of Pensacola to Order the 50th Anniversary Mayfair Hardtop. I spent a number of hours with John looking at different options on in-Stock Cars as well as on line with options. I ended up ordering my "Perfect" MINI with all the bells and whistles a girl could want. 5 Days Later I found out that my Best Friend had gotten a call to adopt a 1 year old little boy. My first thought was that OMG!! A car seat is going to be a pain in the rear in the Hardtop. I called John up and between John and Joe, they were able to reconfigure the Mayfair that I had ordered that was on its way into production so that they could just add it to their lot. I went back in and worked with John on the NEW Perfect MINI. A Clubman with a Kid door! I can't thank the guys enough for the hoops they jumped through to make the Clubman happen. As far as Salesmen go, I have bought 30+ cars over the years from Chevys to BMWs to Hummers, and John is the best Sales Adviser that I have ever had. He eats breathes and sleeps MINI. Between John and The Clubman, I'm in the market for another MINI to Add to the family. A great car to drive and a Great Dealership to work with. Aside from top notch Service, they are just a nice bunch of guys. I drop by every couple of months just to talk MINI with them.
